"A CABINET MEETING"

Printer Friendly (PDF)

To The Teacher:

Prepare an agenda for a Cabinet meeting. List on the agenda several current problems for a mock Cabinet to discuss. Assign roles to class members:

  • President - to take charge of the meeting
  • Cabinet members - to discuss the problems on the agenda

(EXAMPLE: If one of your problems is concerned with education and schools, select a student to serve as Secretary of Education.  You will probably not have a full Cabinet of 14 - just those who would be necessary to deal with the problems on your agenda.)

  • Give the "Cabinet members" their problems 3 or 4 days ahead of time for preparation.
