FAQ: Did Truman personally sign letters to all World War II veterans?

This message from President Truman was presented or sent to all honorably discharged veterans of World War II. The name of the serviceman or servicewoman was typed on the line at the top of the message, beneath the reproduction of the Presidential Seal. A facsimile of the President’s signature appears at the end of the message.
