Leaving his hotel to attend the opening of the Japanese Peace Treaty Conference in San Francisco, President Harry S. Truman returns the salute offered by little Louis Jensen. The youngster, dressed in G.I. garb, is the 3-year-old mascot of the 637th National Guard Division.
