President Harry S. Truman holds a newspaper containing a story of General Eisenhower's refusal to accept Democratic urge that he take the party's Presidential nomination, and issued a terse "no comment" as he stood on the observation platform of his private car this morning. President Truman stopped here in Cincinnati, Ohio for 30 minutes enroute to Washington from Bolivar, Missouri, where he dedicated a monument. From: Houston Post.
