President Harry S. Truman carried his presidential campaign to the Illinois State Capitol when he spoke in Springfield Monday. The Chief Executive is pictured as he placed a floral wreath on the tomb of Abraham Lincoln at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield. From: Houston Post.
