Description
President Harry S. Truman shaking hands with Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru of India upon Nehru's arrival at Washington National Airport, while the Prime Minister's daughter, Indira Gandhi, disembarks from the President's airplane, "The Independence." Madam Pandit, Nehru's sister, is standing next to President Truman. All others are unidentified.
