President Harry S. Truman on the rear platform of the presidential train, speaking to a crowd, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. President Truman was on a trip to Bolivar, Missouri, where he dedicated a statue to Simon Bolivar on July 4, 1948. The train passed through Parkersburg on July 4 and July 6.
