A covered wagon drawn by two white mules passes in front of the reviewing platform (in the distance) on which President Harry S. Truman and President Romulo Gallegos of Venezuela were sitting in Bolivar, Missouri. The ceremonies marked the presence of President Truman and his dedication of a statue honoring Simon Bolivar in Bolivar, Missouri.
