Description

President Harry S. Truman is standing on the rear platform of the presidential train in Bolivar, Missouri, after receiving the key to the city. Truman dedicated a statue to Simon Bolivar in Bolivar. Standing from left to right: unidentified man; Missouri Governor Phil Donnelly; President Romulo Gallegos of Venezuela; Dr. Doyle C. McCraw, Mayor of Bolivar; and President Truman.
