President Harry S. Truman (center) is shaking hands with the winners of the National Plowing Contest in Dexter, Iowa. On the left is defending champion Ronald H. Orr of Beatrice, Nebraska, and on the right is new champion Charles G. Long of Bethany, Missouri. Others in the background are unidentified.
