A group of girls are preparing a welcome demonstration for President Harry S. Truman upon his arrival in Washington, D. C. after a campaign tour. The demonstration is staged by the Truman-Barkley Club of Washington, D.C. Shown from left to right are Clara Chapman, Margaret Kelley, Eleanor Maddox, Frances Cameron, Judy Thompson, and Emma Lou Heinie. The donkey remains anonymous.
