Description
Secretary of the Army Frank Pace (left) talks with Sergeant Lawrence Ray (front row, right), a decorated United States Army solider who fought in Korea. Sergeant Ray was among 1,500 other soldiers who returned to a reception at the Seattle, Washington Port of Embarkation. Also present is Lieutenant General Albert Wedemeyer, Commanding General of the Sixth Army. All others are unidentified.
