Crew members of the USS Manchester inspect sampans brought on board the Manchester. Sampans were unsuccessfully used as floating mines in Wonsan Harbor, Korea. Original caption: Note installation of additional thwarts of new wood spaced for size of enemy in use plus securing lines for mines.
