Description
Two Communist mine-laying sampans are intercepted by USS Manchester crew members near Wonsan Harbor, Korea. Original caption: The Commies hatch a new plan to terminate the siege of Wonsan. At 0235 on 23 May 1951 a number of mine-laying sampans attempt to mine us in on a dark, foggy night. Our radar controlled guns disrupt the enemy plans.
