Original caption: The Cruiser USS Manchester's main batteries let go with a full salvo of high explosives aimed at enemy installations in the Kansong area. During a heavy three day bombardment the draft of the ship with decreased by six inches due to firing over 3,000 rounds of high capacity projectiles from its main and secondary batteries.
