President Harry S. Truman (on rear platform, third from right) and others stand on the rear platform of a train and greet a crowd gathered at a railroad station in an unidentified eastern Missouri city. President Truman is headed back to Washington after a trip to the West Coast. Also present is Appointments Secretary Matthew Connelly (on platform, right). All others are unidentified. From: Naval Photo Center, sent to the Truman Library by the National Archives. Original 4x5 negative.
