Exterior view which shows United States Secretary of State Dean Acheson in hat saluting a line of troops. Walking beside him is United States Ambassador to Italy (1946-1952) James C. Dunn. It is believed that Acheson was in Rome to attend a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NATO) held in 1951.
