Interior view with United States Ambassador to Italy, 1946-1952, James C. Dunn on the right shaking hands with an unidentified boy who is standing with other children and adults. Identification with the photograph indicates it was taken in Rome, Italy, at the inauguration of a children's art exhibit. Included on the back is the list of guests invited to a reception held Saturday, July 28, 1951 at 7 p.m. at Villa Taverna, official residence of the United States Ambassador to Italy.
