Segments include appearances by Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kennedy at the Kansas City Airport and the Truman Library; dedication of the Truman Library; presentation of a bust of Dean Acheson (see also MP77-23); the dedication of the Independence (Missouri) Post Office and Federal Building; Eisenhower and Truman at the "We Believe" luncheon at the United Nations; a Truman Library Symposium on the United Nations; Truman Library Institute Board luncheon (see also MP77-24). Other scenes include the dedication of Truman High School (MP77-26); Mr. Truman and Hubert H. Humphrey at an Israel bond drive dinner (12 19 65); Mr. Truman with Battery D friends at the Truman Library, (11 13 65); President Lyndon Johnson's visit to the Library, (6 25 65).
