- Footage of Truman at the Jefferson Memorial with an unidentified man and a U.S. Capitol Police officer. Further description from donation letter: “This 16mm film was taken by Walter D. Williams of Detroit, Michigan while he and his wife, their two daughters and his mother in law were visiting Washington D. C. shortly after WW II. …… on an early Sunday morning at the Jefferson Memorial. Walter was at first hesitant to take the picture but he was assured by the secret service men it was all right. The President smiled and waved his hat to us. Dad got his picture and we have that memory….”
