00:00   The footage of the inaugural parade for Harry S. Truman in Washington, D.C. continues. This segment begins with majorettes holding a banner that mentions “Harry and Alben” and leading a marching band, the York, Pennsylvania Spring Garden Band marching band. They followed by a float showcasing the state of Nebraska.
00:12   People in Native American costume ride on horseback
00:18   A military marching band, followed by tanks and jeeps.
00:39   The Idaho float and the Oklahoma float pass, and then people march past with a banner that reads, “Coaldale.” Another marching band passes.
01:03   More horseback riders, this time in Polynesian dress, precede a float with a sign that reads, “Hawaii, the 49th state,” followed by a Puerto Rico float and a Virgin Islands float.
01:27   Baton twirling and another marching band, followed by drummers and military formations.
02:15   The footage darkens as the sun goes down. Parade continues.
