Footage from the William M. Rigdon collection at Georgia Southern University, who retained the original films. This film deals with German orphans in Europe visiting the United States.

SD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are available for $20, and HD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are $50. Copies of motion pictures not already digitized will incur additional costs.

    Children, in German dress, play outside and inside a store.
00:29   They sit in the grass in front of a building with pillars. They participate in a parade, and they feed geese. They visit river with many rocks.
01:20   Several shots of buildings in the city are shown along with a shot of a rocky precipice.
01:38   A sign reads “Captain John Smith,” and it describes his part in the New World. Some homes and trees are seen. They take a boat ride and see more buildings and homes.
02:40   A church or cathedral is seen. A mountainous scene is viewed from a train. Back on the boat they look ashore.
03:33   They look at scenery including trees and the sea.
04:18   Scenes are shown in an older looking city. Children pose for the camera at and near a building, possibly the orphanage.
