Johnson visits the Truman home on October 11, 1968, where President Johnson signs the United Nations Day Proclamation; Harry S. 00:00   This segment involves Lyndon B. Johnson joining Harry S. Truman at the Harry S. Truman Library for a presentation involving the first Medicare card on January 20, 1966. President Johnson deplanes, and then arrives by car at the entrance of the Truman Library, which is surrounded by crowds. The film cuts to Omar Bradley and Truman chatting as they sit in chairs under a banner. The bottom of the banner reads, “We believe.” “We Believe” is a United Nations organization in Kansas City.
00:43   Harry S. Truman and another man walk along in front of snow-covered vehicles at an airport on December 3, 1967. Margaret Truman Daniel and her family deplane from a TWA aircraft. Harry and Bess Truman wait to greet them. The reunited Truman family and others walk towards and into a brick building. Bess Truman kisses one of her grandchildren on the head.
01:18   Lyndon B. Johnson, Lady Bird Johnson and others deplane at an airport on May 3, 1968 for a visit to the Truman home in Independence, Missouri.
01:32   Vice-President Hubert Humphrey visits the Truman home on May 25, 1968. Humphrey gets out of a car in a line of other vehicles surrounded by press members. He walks up to the front of the Truman’s home and is greeted by Harry and Bess Truman.
01:57   On October 11, 1968, Harry S. Truman, Bess Truman, Margaret Truman Daniel and her toddler son, Lyndon B. Johnson and others stand just outside of the Truman’s home, posing for the camera. President Johnson begins to pick up Harry Truman’s grandson. The camera moves inside where Harry Truman and President Johnson sit at a desk, Margaret Truman Daniel and Bess Truman standing to either side. Harry Truman and President Johnson look at and discuss some papers on the desk. President Johnson is signing the United Nations Day Proclamation.
02:23   Harry S. Truman votes in the presidential election on November 5, 1968. Mr. Truman sits at a desk and signs a card. Then Mr. Truman is shown to voter booth by a woman who is probably an election official. He gets inside and draws the curtain. Then the film cuts to Mr. Truman after he has voted and is preparing to walk home.
02:50   On June 7, 1969, a marching band plays outside of the Truman home. Harry S. Truman stands inside the tall iron fence surrounding his yard, and a Salvation Army official stands on the other side. The official has a microphone, and a crowd has gathered behind him. The official makes a statement while holding an award plaque, then hands the plaque to Mr. Truman through the bars of the gate. The crowd applauds. Truman holds the plaque and makes a statement.
03:34   Omar Bradley and a woman arrive at the Truman’s home in Independence, Missouri on November 4, 1969. They exit a car and walk up to the front door. Later they are shown leaving and commenting to reporters outside of the yard gate.
04:01   Lengthy unrelated footage from a news station begins. This includes scenes from various broadcasts and press conferences, as well as a walk-through of news offices decorated for Christmas and shots of camera equipment. The camera is turned towards working journalists as they do their jobs.
