00:00   American Legion members pose in a line in front of a plane at an unidentified Hawaiian airport. At the center is Paul H. Griffith. People wear leis. A woman wearing several leis holds a ukulele.

00:24   Griffith walks around the hole the other men are digging. This is followed by several close-up shots of the digging, rocks and leaves lining the dirt bottom of the hole, water pouring over the rocks and steam rising from the hole. The men are most likely constructing an imu, a traditional Hawaiian steam oven.
00:32   Camera pans around wooded area. Group of people walk along an outdoor staircase with handrail. It appears to be a tour of a volcanic crater.
