Eleventh Annual Truman Library Teachers Conference

Equal Rights for All: Civil Liberties in the USA
July 14-18, 2014

The class is full.

This conference will examine Civil Rights, Labor Rights, Disability Rights, Women’s Rights, and Human Rights. There will be opportunities to visit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the Black Archives of Mid-America, the American Jazz Museum and the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum. Teachers will be given time during the week to do research and develop lesson plans which will be posted in the Truman Library’s extensive online lesson plan database.
