Roosevelt's Attorney General, later appointed to the Supreme Court. As Attorney General, he prosecuted Andrew Mellon for tax evasion. Justice Jackson was one of the ablest public servants of that time. It is difficult to do the just and right thing, so it doesn’t look like a personal grudge. You have to be impartial.
