He states that a person needs to be ready for whatever happens as he had to face responsibilities upon President Roosevelt's death. He details work of bringing war to victorious end, then difficulties of maintaining the peace because of menace from Russian and Chinese Communism. He concluded with declaring he wants the people to "know the Presidency as I have experienced it, and I want them to know me as I am." |
