0:25   Harry S. Truman discusses Potsdam, giving details of Stalin's views. Stalin wanted reparations whereas Harry S. Truman wanted world peace. He discusses their differing views of Spain and China. Harry S. Truman states he had no interest in starting a civil war in Spain.
3:10   Harry S. Truman says quarterly meetings of foreign ministers was discussed. Churchill stated they were very helpful.
4:49   Harry S. Truman states the United States worked for a world peace that would stand up. He states that Russia did not want peace then, and still does not want peace.
7:14   Harry S. Truman says the goal for Germany was restoration, trials for war criminals, and rehabilitation under a free government of their own choosing.
8:04   Harry S. Truman discusses Secretary Morgenthau's "German Settlement" plan which would have made a strictly agrarian country out of Germany. When Morgenthau threatened to quit if he couldn’t go to Yalta, Harry S. Truman told him, "You’ll quit right now."
9:56   Harry S. Truman discusses his intention of carrying out President Roosevelt's policies. He intended to keep President's cabinet if they wanted to stay.
