Countess Jadwiga Pulaski
(This arranged at request of the Attorney General. Countess
Pulaski will present to the President on behalf of her
father, Francis Pulaski who is ill, a painting by John Lewis
Brown, representing the death of General Pulaski in
the Battle of Savannah. This is for the White House Collection.
Countess Pulaski and her father are Polish Nationals, self-exiled,
living in Paris.)

7:50 pm The President and Mrs. Truman were guests at a dinner at the
Shoreham Hotel given in their honor by H. E. the President of
Chile and Senora de Gonzalez Videla.)
10:05 pm (The President and Mrs. Truman accompanied by the President
of Chile and his wife attended reception at the Pan American
Union.)
