Missouri Mavericks vs. Tulsa Oilers

Join us as the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum joins with the Missouri Mavericks for Truman Night on Friday, Nov. 20. Members and friends of the Truman Library are being offered an exclusive discount for this special night.

Terrace seats (normally $18) can be purchased for just $12. Or you can get Rinkside Tickets for only $18 (normally $25)!

On game night, we'll be at the arena giving away Thunderstix to the first 1,000 people who walk through the doors. Plus, Harry Truman, himself, will be present to drop the first puck. Then, at intermission, a few lucky fans will get to enter our on-the-ice "Puck Stops Here" contest. Order your tickets today and show your support for the Truman Library. Thank you!

Truman Jersey Auction

For this special night on the ice, every Mavericks player will be a wearing specially themed jersey for Truman Night. After the game, these commemorative sweaters will be auctioned off. Winning bidders will have their photo taken with the player just before the shirt is taken from his back! Auction proceeds benefit the Truman Library Institute, the nonprofit partner of the Truman Library, to support its nationally acclaimed education programs. Thank you for your support!

Second Saturdays

Talkin' Truman - Truman Library archivists will commemorate HST's 125th birthday throughout 2010 with informative programs highlighting rarely seen and unique items from the Truman Library's collections. Look for the Talkin' Truman graphic on the events page. These Second Saturday programs take place at 11 a.m. and are included with paid Museum admission.

Harry S. Truman: 1884-1972 Narrated by David McCullough Daily Show Times: Hourly from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.This 45-minute film by Academy Award winner Charles Guggenheim examines Truman's life, from his humble birth in Lamar, Missouri, to the courtship of his wife, Bess Wallace, his service in World War I, his entry into local politics under "Boss" Tom Pendergast, his election to the U.S. Senate, and his rise to the Presidency.
