ORGANIZATION

Truman had to be able to think fast as a president. He formed policies that would affect many people's lives. Truman had never forgotten the suffering of his family after the Civil War. He was determined to help the people of Europe to recover from the tragedies of war. After the war, he organized the Marshall Plan to help the people and the countries of Europe get back on their feet.
