More Class Photos!!

Our class curriculum focuses on a theme each month and much of our learning that we do for that month involves the chosen theme. For example: January is Invention month and February is Missouri Month. So with those two themes in mind you can see why we chose to do our Truman Trivia on "Inventions During Truman's Time".

During January the students have also read famous inventor's biographies; such as, Wright Brothers, Leonardo da Vinci, Alexander Graham Bell, and Walt Disney. Were you surprised to read the last name? What about Mickey Mouse?

My students have learned that not all inventions are machines! They have also created their own inventions which are displayed and demonstrated at our Invention Fair at the end of the month.

As you will see from our website contribution that Harry S. Truman's life was greatly affected by many inventions important to mankind.

Please note that several of our photographs were scanned from the book called, Harry S. Truman, a Photobiography by Ideals Publications, Nashville, TN.

The Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is one of thirteen Presidential Libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration.
