Today Truman first met with the Vice President, Mr. Rayburn, and Senator Lucas. Then he met with Congressman Karst of Missouri to talk to him about several political matters with respect to St. Louis County.
About 11:45 Truman talked with the Secretary of the Army. Then he was off to his normal Secretary of State meeting. Next he went to War Collage where he attended a lecture on "Political Strategy of Axis". Then he met with Mr. McGraw of Kansas City. Finally he broadcasted over the National Hook-up from the Project Room of the White House for the American Red Cross.
