the Harry S. Truman Library was $1,750,000. An addition in 1968 cost $310,000,
while a 1980 renovation cost $2,800,000. A complete museum renovation
started in 2000 cost $22,500,000.
d. Was it built
by donations or federal funds?
The $1,750,000
cost to build the Harry S. Truman Library was raised entirely by private
donations. The federal government, after accepting the building, pays
to maintain and operate the building facilities.
