Spalding's Commercial College

Truman enrolled here soon after graduating from high school in 1901. He took a typing class in the summer and bookkeeping and shorthand classes in the fall semester. After that, he quit school to help his father with his failing business ventures.

Spalding's Commercial College was located in the East Wing of the New York Life Building, 814 to 818 Delaware Street, near 9th and Main Streets.
