Cost for the Forum on Monday is $25.00. A special admission price of $5.00 is available for students. Fee includes breakfast and lunch.

A Forum on the Prospects for the First Woman President

Conveners:
Robert P. Watson, Ph.D. is the author or editor of 11 books and is the founding editor of the journal, White House Studies. He has taught as several universities, most recently at the University of Hawaii, Hilo.

Ann Gordon, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Ohio University, where she conducts research and writes on campaign communication and women in politics.

Special Keynote Speakers
Patricia Schroeder holds the distinction of being the longest serving woman in the history of the U.S. Congress. First elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1972 from Colorado, Schroeder was reelected 11 times, serving from 1973 to 1997

Eleanor Clift is a Contributing Editor for Newsweek magazine, a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated show, "The McLaughlin Group," and a political analyst for Fox News.

Marie C. Wilson is the President and co-founder of the New York City-based White House Project, an organization dedicated to enhancing public perceptions of women's capacity to lead and promote a female presidency.

Panelists

Karen O'Connor, Ph.D. is Professor of Government at American University, where she also serves as Chair of the Department of Government and Director of the Women and Politics Institute.

Michael A. Genovese, Ph.D. is Professor of Political Science and the Director of the Institute for Leadership Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Anne Costain, Ph.D. is Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado, where she is also Associate Vice President for the University of Colorado System.

Diane Bystrom, Ph.D. is Director of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics at Iowa State University, where she also teaches courses in women and politics and political science.

Lori Cox Han, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Austin College in Sherman, Texas.

Max Skidmore, Ph.D. is University of Missouri Curator's Professor and teaches at the University of Missouri-Kansas City
