COLLECTION DESCRIPTION
This small collection of papers is all that Brackley Shaw kept in his
possession when he left his position as General Counsel of the Department
of the Air Force in l949. The remainder of his files are in the files
of that department. The papers document a few aspects of Shaw's work as
General Counsel. Topics covered include air transport policy, the constitutionality
of the National Security Act of l947, and air transportation for dependents
of Department of the Air Force personnel. Related materials in the Library's
