Dates: 1950-1959.

David D. Lloyd was an Administrative Assistant to the President from 1951 to 1953, and subsequently served as an unofficial aide to former President Truman and as executive director of the Harry S. Truman Library, Inc.

ACCRETION DESCRIPTION

The accretion consists of a new series, the Truman Family File, which is arranged in alphabetical order by folder title. The series contains several letters from Bess W. Truman and Margaret Truman Daniel to Mr. and Mrs. David D. Lloyd, and a few photographs of members of the Lloyd and Truman families.

A copy of the complete guide to the David D. Lloyd Papers is available in the research room of the Truman Library.
