Executive Orders:  [10403 RESERVING CERTAIN LANDS COMPRISING A PART OF THE FORT MISSOULA MILITARY RESERVATION AS AN ADDITION TO THE FORT MISSOULA DISTRICT OF THE LOLO NATIONAL FOREST]
Executive Orders:  [10404 RESORTING CERTAIN LAND RESERVED FOR MILITARY PURPOSES TO THE TERRITORY OF HAWAII AND TRANSFERING TITLE TO SUCH LAND AND TO CERTAIN OTHER LANDS TO THE TERRITORY]
1:00 pm The President arrived in Washington, D. C., where he was
greeted by Members of the Cabinet, etc. He then returned
to the White House where he was met by employees of the
White House staff.
2:00 pm Honorable Dean Acheson, Secretary of State
2:30 pm (Pre Press)
3:00 pm The President issued a statement from his desk in the Executive
Office to the White House press and radio relative to the
election results. He also posed for newsreel and television
photographers.
