The President's Day

Come see what President Truman did every day of his Presidency!     (The President departed Lambert Airport, St. Louis, Missouri, and
flew to Kansas City, Missouri. The President and party stayed at
the Muehlbach Hotel)

(The following had appointments with the president in Kansas City:)
3:00 pm The President dropped by the Library in Independence and visited
Mr. George C. Marquis, 114 East Ruby St., to see a new set of
books and also a portrait of the President's mother.
