Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon

As part of the Truman Library 50th Anniversary Celebration, the 13 Presidential Library Directors of the National Archives met at Truman Library in Independence, Mo. on June 12-14. The directors took time out of their meeting schedule on June 13 to present their favorite things from their library & museum holdings to the public, and a video camera was on hand to capture the presentations. Watch the Presidential Library Directors bring history to life as they discuss letters, speeches, staircases, sculptures, telephone conversations, and automobiles that figured in U.S. Presidential History.
